The Brazilian chocolate export revenue reached the highest value in history...

Until November 2018, Brazil traded the equivalent of US $ 148.58 million in chocolate, an increase of 67.8% compared to the accumulated sales in the same period of 2017 and, 6.0% above the previous record that happened in 2005.

The following stas presents the revenue data from the sale of chocolate from Brazil abroad between the months of January and November, from 2005 to 2018, in millions of dollars, according to data from the MDIC.

It is interesting to note that revenue from the sale of chocolate in Brazil accumulated a drop in relation to 2005, until the year 2017.

Between the years 2006 and 2017, the revenue from Brazilian chocolate exports was less than the value reached between January and November 2005. It is also worth mentioning that in the years 2015 and 2017, the revenue was below US $ 100.0 million in the period, which had not happened throughout the series previously.
